The first official day of fall is September 22nd, but in my world it has already started! I’m usually not a huge fan of fall, but this year feels different. Whenever I think of fall, I honestly just feel so happy. Not sure if it’s the cozy outfits, the cute fall decorations, or the onset of the holidays (or all!) that just have me so excited for the season this year.
In honor of fall approaching, I wanted to share 5 fall shoes that I’m looking forward to styling this year. All pictures will have shoppable links if you’re interested in trying out some of the shoes as well! All you have to do is click the photo to shop the items!
1. White Booties
I had a pair of black booties that I wore to death last year. Booties really pull together and dress up any basic jeans and sweater combo outfit. I plan to invest in more colors this year, but I specifically want to get a white pair. because of how clean and classy they look! I think white booties are the girliest type of fall shoes.
2. Snake Print Booties
Just another pair of booties I’m looking forward to getting! I tend to dress in a lot of neutral colors and I feel like snake print booties would be a great statement piece for an all black outfit or a white sweater + black ripped jeans combo.
3. Dr. Martens
I was honestly very surprised to find out the official brand name is Dr. Martens and not “Doc Martens” (embarrassing ๐ ). When I was looking up typical white Docs, I came across the all white ones in the style “Combs”- linked below. I actually LOVE the all white. I can picture them now with light wash ripped jeans and a big, cozy white sweater!
4. Suede Thigh High Boots
I actually got a black pair of thigh high boots about a year ago, but I literally never wore them. Thigh highs can be a little intimidating to wear, but don’t underestimated how cute they are! Another new fashion fav heavily influenced by my FALL FITS Pinterest board! If I start to wear my black ones more, I’ll definitely be looking into getting a chestnut pair!
5. Chunky Sneakers
I used to avoid chunky sneakers because I definitely don’t need anything to make my feet look even bigger than they are ๐. However, I got a nude pair of chunky sneakers from Marshall’s about a year ago and I love them. I know FILA’s tend to be very controversial, but I’m starting to think they are going to be the perfect basic shoe for my more causal outfits- plus they seem to be on major sale. Chunky sneakers aren’t typically categorized as fall shoes, but it’s a trend I’ve been wanting to incorporate into my outfits more often!
